Top Breakfast Restaurants in Cozumel

Food is always a great part of the experience when you travel to Mexico. Here we would like to share with you a list of our favorite breakfasts in Cozumel. All of them include traditional mexican and continental breakfast options. Enjoy!

1. Maple Bake House

Well known for its variety of freshly made bread, wonderful coffee (with 2-3 dairy free options) and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast menu includes all sorts of eggs, sandwiches, crapes, a couple of vegan dishes, smoothies and more.

2. Sereno Roof Bar & Restaurant

There is nothing similar to Sereno if you are looking for a modern cuisine and amazing view. For its delishious food, attentive service and location we’ve made Sereno our official Birthday Breakfast Place in Cozumel. Definetely worth to try.

3. Coz Coffee Roasting Company

The only restaurant that roasts its own coffee! If you come early in the morning, very likely you will meet the owner of the place – Tom, making his world famous peanut butter coffee. What we also recommend to try is their traditional “Cafe de olla” along with your favorite dish from the menu.

4. El Rincon de Addy

“Feels like home” – is the first thing you notice walking into el Rincon de Addy. Addy the owner of the restaurant is an artist and every decoration has her personal touch. You will see it on the walls, tables and hanging from the trees.

Menu has a variety of eggs, pancakes, chilaquiles, granola with yogurt and fruit. You can also find cold drinks, coffee, tea, cakes etc. You can always expect a warm atmosphere at Addy’s, that’s for sure.

Café de Isla is one of our best breakfast spots, situated inside an authentic Mexican house featuring a cozy garden and stylish indoor spaces. Owned by a wonderful couple of athletes, it offers a nutritious and comprehensive menu suitable for everyone, particularly those who decide to stay on the healthy side. And, of course, coffee is their specialty!

6. Sucré Salé | French bakery

Probably the best croissants in Cozumel. Come early to enjoy your morning coffee with freshly made French desserts.

7. Jeanie’s

Well known for its traditional Mexican breakfast, waffles and incredible views! It’s a simple place with the perfect location across from Mega supermarket; large menu and attentive staff. Great way to start your morning with Caribbean vibes.

8. La Monina

Make sure to bring your camera because you won’t want to miss it. La Monina has one of the best locations among all breakfast places close to downtown. They will provide you with an extensive menu, just like Jeanie’s.
